# Update or Replace Images on an Existing Application You can change the images on an application by opening that application from your account and replacing the images you want to swap, as long as the event still allows edits. ## Before you begin Whether you can edit images depends on the application's status and the event's rules. Some events lock applications once they're submitted or after the entry deadline. If you're unsure, check the event listing or ask the event organizer. To see where your application stands, read [Track Your Application Status](/help/article/track-application-status). ## Steps 1. **Sign in** to your artist account. 2. **Open your applications** and select the one you want to change. 3. **Go to the images section** of the application. 4. **Replace the image.** Remove the old image and add the new one, or upload a replacement if that option is shown. Do this for each image you want to change. 5. **Check your image details.** If the application includes titles, dimensions, or other details for each work, make sure they still match the new image. 6. **Save your changes.** If the application has already been submitted, check whether you need to resubmit it for the changes to count.
